Reformation 500 Series with Calvin Malcor

Reflections on the Reformation October 31, 2017, will mark the 500th anniversary of the day that Martin Luther nailed his Ninety-Five Theses to the door of the Wittenberg Castle Church in Germany. Historians recognize this as the “spark” that ignited the Protestant Reformation. Tragically, many people today—including evangelical and Reformed Christians—know little about this great event. A Valentine’s Day Meditation

Big Springs Community Church held its annual Valentine’s Day Dinner Fellowship yesterday. It was a joyous time of fellowship, with many seeing friends for the first time after many years. God says to Israel before they were destroyed by…

Men’s Bible Study: “The Gospel According to Joshua”

The men are currently visiting a period in Biblical history known as “The Conquest of the Promised Land” in the Book of Joshua. But in recent times, the most heated discussion when Joshua is mentioned is about the command by God to the Israelites to “devote” everyone and everything “to destruction” as they conquered the cities in the land. How can a good, loving God command “genocide”? Join us as we embark on a “conquest” of this and several other themes and issues in seven Lessons from the White Horse…
