Sermon Series: The Church, Existing from the Beginning of the World to the End
In this sermon series, we studied the Biblical, theological and historical aspects of the church, and the metaphorical names used to refer to and symbolize it. We began with the ancient Paradise in creation (Genesis 2), the Garden of Eden, and came full circle to the future Paradise of God in the new heaven and new earth (Revelation 2:7; 22:1-5). Therefore, the Belgic Confession of Faith Article 27 says, “This church has existed from the beginning of the world and will last until the end.”
