The Apostle Paul wrote this letter about AD 57, almost 30 years after our Lord Jesus Christ was crucified, rose from the dead, and ascended into heaven. At that time, he was preaching in Corinth in Greece during his third and last missionary journey. Paul addresses the tension between Jews and Gentile believers in Rome.
